Hauling pallet goods in the game is fiddly: loading pallets one by one, strapping them, keeping them upright on the road. Pallet Cargo turns it into litres. You walk up to the pallets and press one key; the goods go into the body as litres and the pallets disappear. At the destination you unload into a pallet storage, a selling point or a factory, or drop the goods as pallets again. The semi-trailer is 13.6 m long, holds 60,000 L and has four compartments. It sits on the game's original Krone chassis with a rigid body instead of curtains, and the chassis, door and rim colours and the body design are chosen in the shop. Early development: it runs on our test server with a clean client log, and the acceptance scan was verified in game.

Status: Early development. The mod is being tested on our own server; the feature list describes the goal and the released version may differ.

Features

What it does

  • Four 15,000 L compartments: each product goes into its own compartment and the same product may spill over into several.
  • Walk up to the pallets and press Left Alt + L: the goods go into the body as litres and the pallets disappear. If a pallet stays behind, the reason is shown.
  • Accepted: everything that comes on a pallet (eggs, honey, cheese, flour, timber, vegetable crates, big bags), everything a pallet container can carry (IBC tanks, sapling pallets) and all factory inputs and outputs. Silos, augers and shovels cannot fill it.
  • Auto loading (Left Alt + O): while standing, nearby pallets are loaded on their own.
  • Unload (Left Alt + U): into a pallet storage or straight into a selling or production point; you pick the product and amount, and a selling point shows the expected earnings first.
  • Drop as pallets (Left Alt + I) and load from a pallet storage (Left Alt + M).
  • Works with AutoDrive like a Universal Autoload trailer: it picks up nearby pallets at the loading point and unloads into a storage or selling point at the destination.
  • With Farm Market you buy from another farm's pallet storage straight into the body, or sell from the body to a storage with a buy offer, paid per litre on the spot.
  • Krone chassis: three axles, landing gear, opening rear doors, lights, number plate, air and electric hoses. It can also be pulled by a tractor with the Krampe dolly.
  • The body design is chosen in the shop: Dostlar STUDIO (cream), Night (dark), Forest (green) or Plain (white), along with chassis, door and rim colours.

Setup

How to use it

  1. Not released yet. It runs on our test server with a clean client log.
  2. On release the zip goes into the mods folder of the server and of every connecting player; the trailer is bought from the shop.
  3. Loading and unloading use Left Alt together with L, O, U, I and M.
