Pallet goods in the game either pile up in front of a factory or wait at the edge of a field. Pallet Storage gathers them in one place. You set a pallet down on the yellow area of the loading dock on the left side and it goes inside, showing up on the racks. To take it back you pick it at the control cabinet on the dock and it appears on the white area. Factories can send their full pallets straight to the nearest storage, and the storage can feed factory inputs. The produce of animal pens and beehives flows into the storage every hour. It comes in three sizes: small 120,000 L, medium 360,000 L, large 500,000 L. Early development: the basic flow and animal pallets have been tried in game, and the latest versions are being tested.

Status: Early development. The mod is being tested on our own server; the feature list describes the goal and the released version may differ.

Features

What it does

Three sizes: Small (12 x 10 m) 120,000 L, Medium (24 x 14 m) 360,000 L, Large (36 x 18 m) 500,000 L. More than the rack slots can be stored, it is just not shown.
A loading dock on the left side: set a pallet down on the yellow area from the forklift ramp or the truck lane and it goes inside, showing up on the racks.
Pallets, big bags and liquid tanks are accepted; bales are not.
The take-out window (at the dock's control cabinet and in the production menu): product, amount 1 / 5 / 10 / 25 / All and the free pallet slots on the dock in one window. Pallets appear on the white area and stop when it is full.
Factory output: with the To pallet storage output mode in the production menu, full pallets of that product go straight into the farm's nearest storage and no longer pile up in front of the factory.
Send to factory and automatic feeding: stored goods are unloaded into the input of a factory that uses them, and a factory can fill its inputs from the nearest storage on its own.
Animal products: the produce of pens (eggs, wool, goat milk) and beehives flows into the nearest storage every in-game hour, so no pallets pile up at the pen.
Product safety: as long as the farm owns a pallet storage, animal product pallets are not deleted by the nightly cleanup and no fee is charged.
With Farm Market the stored goods can be offered for sale; the buyer collects at the dock or loads straight into a Pallet Cargo vehicle.
The roller door, service door and emergency exit open and close.

Setup

How to use it

Not released yet. The basic flow and animal pallets have been tried in game; the latest versions are being tested.
On release the zip goes into the mods folder of the server and of every connecting player; the storage is bought from the shop as a placeable.
The storage is managed from the Production page in the ESC menu and from the control cabinet on the dock. No key binding needed.
